Car Bumper Repair by Yourself at Home !
Hello and welcome back to the channel Ideas and tricks ! Have you ever had this problem in your car ? We have 2 broken tabs in this bumper. I will show how to fix both without special tools. Metal mesh you can cut from an old strainer or similar. Slowly push, don´t hurry in this step. it may require some time for the mesh to get into the plastic. We cut a strip of plastic from a non-visible area of the bumper. to use as filler material. Slowly fill in the missing part. This side is fine now we must work on the other. We apply the same technique, and fill the missing part with plastic. optionally you can sand to give a better finish. This template, will help us locate the hole in the tab precisely.

I found this perforated metal on an old computer monitor. let the soldering iron reach it´s working temperature. And give the metal time to heat up and work into the plastic, don't put too much pressure on it at first. We will place 3 metal reinforcements on the tab, and it will be more than enough! We need more plastic to complete the repair. so we cut another strip from an invisible area of the bumper.
