A Bergen Area Constable's officer wrecked a van home window to rescue a child laid off in a blistering lorry at a shop parking area Thursday, authorities said.

Policeman Rich Carrion was working on a traffic job when an employee at Costco alerted him to the kid around 4 p.m., according to sheriff's spokesman Anthony Cureton.

Carrion observed the child was "sweating a lot" as well as crying in the car seat, Cureton told NJ Advance Media. The police officer used his baton to smash the window and also reach the child.

The policeman estimated it was at least 80 levels in the van, according to Cureton.

The kid, whose age and gender were not right away available, was released from Hackensack University Medical Facility as well as turned over to the father, the representative included.
